Index by Author or Title | Volume Tables of Content | Alphabetical List of Authors | Illustrators and Engravers | Opening Page |
This site is designed to proivde analytics to the twelve volume 1694-1699 edition of Graevius' Thesaurus Antiquitatum Romanarum. The initial page was produced from an OCR scan of the author/title alphabetical index at the end of vol. 12. It follows the order of the original. Corrections and typographical errors are noted within square brackets. Additionally, the form of the name of the authors from the National Authority File overseen by the Library of Congress has been added within square brackets. The name is as it should appear in all library catalogs in the United States. Names are still being added to the File as part of this project. This was then rearranged to form a table of contents list that gives the articles as they appear in each volume. Another list gives the National Authority File form of the authors' names in alphabetical order along with the volume numbers in which their work appears. If the name of an illustrator is given in the index, the name will be located in the following list. The final list is an alphabetical list of the illustrators and engravers with a reference to where their work appears in each volume. Those names which now or will appear in the National Authority File are in last name, first name order. Those who are not identified are given as the appear in the work. If an author is also responsible for illustrative work, the name is repeated here. This site is connected from the cataloging record for this title done at the University of Florida and is immediately searchable at the WebLuis online catalog and will be available soon through the OCLC FirstSearch and the RLG Eureka bibliographic databases. Graevius, Joannes Georgius, 1632-1703. |
