School of Business Administration and Journalism, 1925-1927
Historical Summary
In 1925, the School of Business Administration and Journalism was established in the College of Arts and Sciences. The Dean of that College was placed in charge. In the fall of 1926 a special director was appointed and the School, though still in theory a part of the College of Arts and Sciences, began to operate as a separate and distinct unit. In the spring of 1927, the College of Commerce and Journalism was created with a dean and a faculty of its own.
