Pat Summeral, who is a member of the UF Foundation’s Board of Directors, narrates this promotional feature.   He mentions the funding problems that existed at the University of Florida prior to 1978 but that with the help of the legislature and the governor (Bob Graham) this has been rectified.  He mentions the research, inventions, and hiring of faculty and staff, which QUIP (Quality Equipment Program) has made possible in the College of Engineering, IFAS, the College of Journalism and Communication, the College of Business Administration, and the Library.  Various faculty members and staff are shown throughout.
