Scope and Content

Originally recorded on reel-to-reel. The digital audio file was created in May 2004 from a cassette copy of the original.

The tape recording was done at a session with Lawrence Ferlinghetti and a small group of people. The location may have been the Poetry Reading Room in Special Collections. A range of topics were discussed including poetry and poets (as T.S. Eliot, Allen Ginsberg, Robert Lowell and others), the Theater of the Absurd, and the war in Vietnam.
