William Morris's
LOVE IS ENOUGH

Added Materials

In the Library's copy of Morris's Love is Enough, there are several associated items which give the volume an especial appeal. The front free endpaper bears the signature, address, and date by Sydney Cockerell. Laid down on this leaf are also six colored initials drawn by Morris which were never engraved. Morris's signature on a slip of paper is laid down on the rear paste-down endpaper. A receipt by Sir Edward Burne-Jones for a check from Cockerell for his work on the book is laid down between the rear free endpaper and binder's blank. Lastly, a proof of the Kelmscott Press's publication announcement of Love is Enough which also includes the availability and cost of other Kelmscott publications is loosely laid in.
