- Office of the Lieutenant Governor. Tom Adams speech files, 1971. The series contains copies of speeches given by Lt. Governor Adams between January 1971 to August 1971. The speeches reflect his service as Lt. Governor and as Secretary of the Dept. of Commerce. Speeches from the majority of his term of office are missing.
- Dept. of Commerce. Speech files, 1972-1975. The series consists of speech files maintained by the Dept. of Commerce, including the speeches of Lieutenant Governor Tom Adams (1972).
- Secretary of State Tom Adams correspondence, 1961-1970. The series consists of Secretary of State Adams' correspondence from 1961 to 1970 and covers a wide range of topics related to Adams and his office. It includes memoranda and newspaper clippings as well.

- Secretary of the Territory and Secretary of State incoming correspondence, 1831-1917. The series contains the incoming correspondence of the Secretary of State and the Secretary of the Territory from 1831 to 1917. Correspondence in this series touches on numerous aspects of the responsibilities of the Secretary of State. Much of the correspondence is routine in nature, reflecting the secretary's statutory functions. The correspondence focuses on commissions, oaths and bonds of local officials, local election returns, the issuance of election certificates, recommendations for the appointment of officials, and publications and reports. Archer is included.
- Secretary of the Territory and Secretary of State letterbooks, 1830-1865,1889-1905,1922-1926. The series contains the outgoing correspondence of the Secretary of State and the Secretary of the Territory. A major gap exists in the series from 1866-1888. Housed in letterbooks, the correspondence documents the various duties of the Secretary of State and provides an understanding of the internal working of the state and of the historical events of the time.

- Family papers, 1843-1969. Papers, obituaries, eulogy, biographical data, newspaper clippings, correspondence, articles, photographs and albums, and poetry. This collection consists of documents including the certification of marriage of Mary S. Brown and Archer at St. John's Episcopal Church in Tallahassee, Florida, on December 13, 1843, and certification and confirmation of Mary S. Brown Archer, January 11, 1846, both of which were notarized on September 29, 1961. Other materials included in the collection are photocopies of family genealogical notes, photocopies of newspaper clipping obituaries of Susan M. Archer and James T. Archer, and a poem and article in Newport by F.P. Woodward that mentions Archer. Additional materials include a lengthy eulogy by Major George T. Ward, resolutions by the Florida Bar, the governor, chief justice and other Florida officials, biographical data about Governor Thomas Brown's family, the Henry Tillinghast family, the Corley's and others. 79 items.

- Papers, 1896-1911. This collection includes photographs, letters, scrapbooks, and other memorabilia belonging to Governor Bloxham; although most items post- date his last term as governor.
- Correspondence, 1897-1901. Official correspondence of Bloxham's second term as Governor. The records reflect the official, constitutional, and political duties of the Office of the Governor. The series consists mainly of incoming and outgoing correspondence filed by general subject area, agency or organizational name, or county name.
- Governor Bloxham's official incoming correspondence. The State Archives also holds a collection of Territorial and State Governors letterbooks, which contain the official outgoing correspondence of Florida's governors from 1836-1909.
- Secretary of the Territory and Secretary of State incoming correspondence, 1831-1917. The series contains the incoming correspondence of Bloxham during his tenure as the Secretary of State.
- Financial papers, 1875-1878. The collection consists of the personal financial papers of Bloxham, just prior to and during his term as Secretary of State. It includes correspondence, tax receipts, railroad freight bills, ledger pages, merchant's invoices, and payments received notes.

- Papers, 1970-1974. The collection includes personal papers, 1970-1974; Duval-Jacksonville records, 1970-1973; subject files, 1970-1974; and State Senate records, 1972-1974. The collection documents Smathers commitment to government service and his involvement in a wide variety of economic, social, educational, and political issues. The personal papers include biographical, family, and financial information; correspondence; awards; photographs; and campaign files. The campaign files include outlines of strategy, speeches, lists of contributors, and correspondence. The Duval-Jacksonville records contain correspondence and reference files on activities, agencies, and organizations in the City of Jacksonville and Duval County. The subject files contain materials on various state and national topics, agencies, and organizations. The State Senate records include issues files, which contain draft bills and pre-legislative data; and bill files by numbered bills and committee substitutes.
- Secretary of State Bruce Smathers press releases, 1975-1978. This series consists of a variety of official statements issued by Secretary Bruce Smathers to the press. In addition, there are press releases from July 1978 issued by Jessie J. McCrary as Secretary of State.
