Biographical/Historical Note
Blanche Leigh was the wife of Townes Randolph Leigh, who was professor of Chemistry at UF from 1920-1948, serving as Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences for much of his tenure. She compiled these two volumes that deal with "Confederate Monuments" and the "History of the United Daughters of the Confederacy."
