Biographical/Historical Note
Born in Germany in 1874, Jacob H. Kaplan was ordained as a rabbi at Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati in 1902. From 1926 until his retirement, he served as a congregational rabbi at Temple Israel in Miami, Fla.

These two volumes contain news clippings, photographs, and correspondence compiled by Rabbi Kaplan while at Temple Israel in Miami from 1926-1947.
