|Title:||Spanish 6" gun, one-half mile northeast of Santiago. Gun which fired two shells at Gen. Ludlow's camp during bombardment of July 10, 1898. One shell landed almost directly in our camp, but fortunately did not explode. One shell burst about twenty feet beyond our tents, while one landed directly under the horse of one of the General's aides, but luckily not exploding.|
