Biographical/Historical Note
Professional organization. Founded in 1915 as the Ladies Auxiliary of the Florida State Pharmaceutical Association. The name of the parent body was shortened in the 1960s and changed to the Florida Pharmacy Association in 1978.
Scope and Content
The collection consists of scrapbooks, reports, by-laws and booklets describing the history of the organization and its efforts (in the early days of the association) towards the establishment of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Florida.
