Biographical/Historical Note

Professor of Accounting, Dartmouth University. Author of several accounting textbooks.

Manuscripts of published works, including Introduction to Accounting (1941) and Understanding Financial statements and Corporate Annual Reports (1961), unpublished works on accounting and finance, and his dissertation, the Illinois Securities Law of 1919 (University of Illinois, 1929).
