A document written and signed in La Habana on September 14, 1639, by Lope de Tapia, "Juez Official por su Magestad... de esta isla de Cuba." It is written in favor of Don Diego Luis Riano y Menesses, stating that he served in Cuba between 1636-1639, including service as captain of the Castillo del Morro.
