with ticks. Found washed-up dogtags on the beach. Saw Christmas Holiday
with Deanna Durbin and Gene Kelley. Aunt Ida is being taken advantage of
by her landlady. Has been told that Moe's ticks are actually lice.

rejected by Cosmopolitan.

Is trying to make arrangement to have him flown home. She has invited
Ernie Pyle, who is in Florida, for a visit. Idella is leaving to go into
a hospital in Jacksonville. The Lyonses and the chaplain, Bert Cooper,
visited. With them was another family with a small son, who fell in love
with little Martha, convincing MKR that racial prejudice is not inherent.
Edith has arrived. Notes the death of Wendell Willkie.
