Volume 1 in this series is marked Java
Accounts 2 and contains a record of sugar shipments received from Java,
Mauritius, Peru and Egypt. The remaining volumes are weight books
with copies of weighing receipts. The weight books show that the company
dealt in coffee as well as sugar in its early years.
