Historical Summary
From 1977 to 1997, the Graduate School of Business was a unit of the College of Business Administration. In 1997, Provost Elizabeth Capaldi determined that the proper steps to authorize a graduate school had not been taken through the Board of Regents. In 2007, the Hough Graduate School of Business was formally established.
