Historical Summary
The Department of Real Estate existed within the College of Business Administration from 1955-1961. The Department of Real Estate and Urban Land Studies existed from 1964-1973. In 1973, it merged to form the Department of Finance, Insurance, and Real Estate and Urban Land Studies. In 1976, it became the Department of Finance, Insurance and Real Estate.
