miracle Some film historians claimed Cinemiracle was an improvement on the Cinerama process, when WINDJAMMER was released in 1958. The process was the brainchild of a number of technicians who decided to leave the safety of employment with Cinerama, Inc. and branch out on their own. Their Cinemiracle picture was much sharper, but still employed the 3-camera/3-projector process only, this time, they engineered a single projection booth, rather than using three separate booths. The Cinemiracle Company signed with Warner Bros for a multi-picture contract, but could not refuse an offer from Cinerama, Inc. The pioneering Cinerama company diffused the competition, acquired the system improvements and Cinemiracle no longer existed in 1960.
