     Administrative policy records, 1928.
     .2 linear ft. (1 box)

Series P6 contains the correspondence of Acting President James M. Farr.  Farr served as the University of Florida's vice president from 1905 to 1935.  After the death of Albert A. Murpree on December 20, 1927, Farr acted as university president until the arrival of James J. Tigert in September, 1928.
Of special interest is a report on the admission of women to the university, documents related to attacks on the University of Florida and the Florida State College for Women by Sidney Catts, and information on the opening of radio station WRUF. A survey conducted by an unidentified visitation team on March 29, 1928 was added to the series in 2006. It was found in the records of University Historian Samuel Proctor.
