Subseries P10b contains the administrative records,
excluding letters, of President J. Hillis Miller. The subject content
of Subseries 10b is similar to that in Subseries 10a. Of special
note are the presidential memoranda. These include the numbered
policy memoranda as well as general memoranda.
With the exception of the numbered memoranda, the
contents list does not provide the subject analysis contained in Subseries
10b.
Attached at the end of the series is a brief subject
file. These files were accessioned at a later date and were not fragmented.
The subject files contain various record genre, incuding letters.
Of particular note is the file on the dismissal of Prof. John Reynolds
for refusing to testify before a congressional committee investigating
communist activity in American higher education.
