Scope and Content
Series 44 includes records of an ad-hoc committee created to study the history of the religious program, both academic and extracurricular, at the University of Florida and to propose appropriate changes. Roland B. Eutsler chaired the committee. Included with the final report to President Reitz is a document entitled "The Religious Program at the University of Florida: A Chronology" by Delton Lewis Scudder of the Department of Religion. The document is an excellent overview of religion on campus and provides essential statistics on student religious preferences. Also included are transcripts of committee meetings which include comments and recommendations of visitors from both outside and within the University.
