Biographical/Historical Note
The Constitution Committee at the University of Florida was created to make recommendations concerning the university's constitution, to interpret the constitution, and to recommend constitutional changes.
Scope and Content
Series 141 of the University of Florida Archives Public Records Collection contains memoranda, correspondence, a revision notebook, versions and drafts of the constitution including one from the American Association of University Professors (AAUP), and some supporting material (e.g., a copy of the 1958 constitution of the Florida State University).
