Biographical/Historical Note
The Committee to Review Honorary Degrees was appointed by President Miller in a letter dated February 8, 1952 to review the university policies on the awarding of honorary degrees.
Scope and Content
The folder contains correspondence and rules and guidelines for awarding such degrees. There are a number of both citation and presentation certificates in the same folder. Each has the honorary recipient's name and an account of his or her achievements.
