Scope and Content
The Committee on Foreign Students records in Series 136 consist of minutes, two annual reports by the advisor to Foreign Students and two analyses of the Academic Accomplishments of foreign students who attended the University of Florida. One is dated 1937 through 1950 and the other is dated September 1950 through August 1951.
The committee concerned itself with policy questions regarding the operation of the office of the advisor to Foreign Students. Some of the issues were whether attempts should be made to expand scholarship opportunities to foreign students and should the office try to promote contacts between foreign students and the campus and community.
