Biographical/Historical Note
Originally named the Committee on International Relations, the committee was appointed in mid-1953 by President J. Hillis Miller. In a letter dated March 12, 1963, President Reitz appointed the Committee of Evaluation on International Relations at the request of the Graduate Council and the Department of Political Science to increase the department's emphasis on international relations and to establish it as a separate area within political science for graduate work.

Series 134 contains two reports, correspondence, and memoranda from the Committee of Evaluation on International Relations. One of the reports was created by the Committee on International Relations.
