Biographical/Historical Note
The responsibilities for the Committee on University Libraries are (1) to make recommendations to the University Senate regarding the allocation of funds for the purchase of library books (2) to inform the President of the needs of the library (3) to make policy recommendations for library matters as they affect faculty and students, and (4) to advise the Director regarding the coordination of all libraries on campus and also the possible establishment of branch libraries.
Scope and Content
Series 124 contains reports, minutes, correspondence, allocation allotments, rules and regulations, memoranda, distribution of graduate student statistics, handwritten notes, and role and scope studies.
