Claude L. Murphree was a member of the University of Florida Department of Music and the University Organist.


Scope and Content

Five scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings and souvenirs documenting Murphree's organ recitals. The five scrapbooks are dated: 1) 1926; 2) 1926-1927; 3) 1932-1933; 4) 1934-1939; 5) 1940-1946. Also includes a manuscript book with hand-written musical scores, a convention name tag, a 1935 program, and three posters advertising various Murphree's recitals.
