Biographical/Historical Note

Sigma Tau was a national honorary fraternity for students of engineering. The Upsilon Chapter of the University of Florida was founded in 1923. In 1979, Sigma Tau merged with Tau Beta Pi.


Scope and Content

This collection includes copies of the fraternity's constitution and by-laws, and correspondence with the National Council. Boxes 2-4 contain annual file folders of chapter records. Each folder contains minutes, correspondence, and other relevant material. Also included in the collection are the fraternity's membership books for 1923 through 1974.
