Biographical/Historical Note
Kappa Epsilon was organized in 1921 as a national professional society for women pharmacy students. The University of Florida chapter was organized in the fall of 1936 and received its charter in 1939. It was the first recognized women's student organization on campus. The local chapter is no longer in existence.
Scope and Content
Ms Coll. 114 contains membership records, correspondence, ledgers, minutes and constitutions. The bulk of the material falls between the years 1954 and 1963. There is also a brief explanation of the organization of the group.
This collection forms part of the University Archives Small Collections.
