Biographical/Historical Note

The Alpha Eta chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha at the University of Florida was founded in 1904 at Lake City. It moved to Gainesville in 1906 and it is one of the three oldest social fraternities at the University of Florida.

Scope and Content

The collection contains materials of the Alpha Eta Chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Included are two chapter newsletters, one 1909 constitution and by-laws, a typed, undated history of the fraternity, a flyer from a 1950 event, Founders' Day banquet programs, chapter membership lists from the 1920s, homecoming programs, and Mother's Day programs.
