Homecoming Parade, 1948

Manuscript Collection 106 consists of a small album with thirteen pages twelve of which contain photographs and the thirteenth page is blank.  The photographs document visually some aspects of the Homecoming Parade of November 19, 1948 which took place in Gainesville, Florida. 

George Cameron Wheeler to whom this photo album belonged was graduated from the University of Florida in 1949 and received a BSA degree from the College of Business Administration.  He was also a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity.
