Web Page Task Force
A Public Services Division web page was established in 1999 with
the objective of bringing together in one place administrative support
information needed by public services staff. The intent of the Public
Services Director was to include both very current information (e.g.,
current job postings and composition of search committees) and an
archive of key public service documents (policy statements, reports
of task forces and committees, etc.). The page was to be accessible
to staff and easy to use. It was not to duplicate but to be a part
of the general staff toolbox, containing information most pertinent
to Public Services Division staff. It was to be kept up to date by
the PS Director and staff in the Library Office.

Due Date: Progress report by April 30, 2002
Final report by June 30, 2002
Charge
This Task Force is being asked to undertake the following tasks and
report on them to the Director for Public Services by June 30, 2002.
- Review the existing web page
- Recommend additions or deletions to the basic outline of the page
- Recommend material that should be included in each section of
the outline
- Recommend procedures for ensuring that the page is maintained
and that the format of linked pages meets University and Libraries
standards
