Q.  Will I still be able to use the library’s electronic resources while I am away for a summer term or a sabbatical?
A. Yes, you as a UF faculty member should be able to access most of these resources from other locations. For instructions, consult the “Guide to Accessing Library Databases Outside the Library” at http://www.uflib.ufl.edu/access.html
Q.  Some library resources and services ask for a library card number.  Where do I find this?
A.  The UF Library card number is the 14 digit number located on your Gator 1 card beneath the bar code.  To use resources remotely it must be activated.  You can activate your library card at any circulation desk or via the web at http://www.uflib.ufl.edu/distreg.html
