For regular loan items:
- Fine per day per item* - $ 0.25
- Minimum Fine billed per item - $ 1.00
- Maximum Fine per item** - $10.00
*If a recalled item is overdue, fine is $1 per day per item
**If a recalled item is overdue, maximum fine is $40 per item
For short term loan items
- General Reserve Items: 2hr and 24hr loans - $1 per hour
- Other Reserve Items: 3 day and 7 day loans - $1 per day
- Periodicals - $1 per day
- Reference items - $1 per day
- Minimum Fine billed per item - $ 1.00
- Maximum Fine per item - $40.00
If a regular or short term loan item reaches the maximum overdue charge, it is considered LOST and the borrower will be assessed a replacement cost of the item in addition to fines accrued
Laptop
- $10 per hour overdue charge, maximum $100 overdue at which time the item is considered LOST
- $2000 replacement fee if item is damaged or considered LOST
Group Study Room
- $10 per hour overdue charge, maximum $100 overdue at which time the item is considered LOST
- $35.00 non-refundable replacement fee if the key is considered LOST
