Present:

Filming Production for August
Many reels of duplication came back from the vendor during the month of August.  Currently the microfilm is being catalogued on OCLC by a Preservation student.  No reels have been shipped to the National Agriculture Library yet, however a large shipment will go out before the end of the grant.

Cataloguing Production for August
The renovation of the Resource Services offices continued through the month of August, causing some disruptions in production.  Susan reported that Jack catalogued 56 monographs and 6 theses before leaving the USAIN position to accept a permanent position in the Libraries.  Susan finished cataloguing the Florida Cattleman and four titles are almost ready to come down to Preservation but they are missing many issues.  She previously tried to interlibrary loan the missing issues, but was unsuccessful.  Jimmie catalogued a Bulletin, and has two more to go.  Daniel may have one Bulletin, but it is unlikely.  Cathy suggested that big runs of serials be tackled first, and the smaller runs left until later.  Susan still has approximately 35 monographs left to catalogue that Jack did not have time to finish before leaving.

Budget Update
Cathy approximates that we will be returning $15,000.00 to Cornell, which will probably be appropriated to Nebraska.

Work Flow for Remaining Weeks
Susan estimates there are approximately 50 titles left upstairs to catalogue, when all title changes are taken into account.  The more complete titles (bigger runs) should be catalogued first, and then tackle the smaller runs.  Nelda stated we are about 250-275 titles from our target.

Lake Alfred Returns
Preservation would like to return materials that will not be filmed via the DILI courier.  Jimmie suggested that Daniel Cromwell may like to take things back.  She will check with Daniel, and if he is not interested, she will make sure that Lake Alfred does not mind receiving the materials via the DILI courier.

Respectfully Submitted,
Victoria Naipavel
