Cathy Mook introduced our guests, Barb Voyer and Scott May. Barb Voyer is an Information Specialist for Information Conservation, Inc., the parent company of our new bindery, Southeast Library Bindery. Scott May is Plant Manager of Southeast Library Bindery. Scott and Barb were here to familiarize the LBC members with changes that will occur in the transition from the Heckman Bindery to Southeast Library Bindery.

Barb gave a lengthy demonstration of the new version of LARS that will be loaded onto all binding computer stations. Scott spoke about differences in the binding process, especially the new two-week turnaround time.

The next meeting of the binding committee will be at 9am on Wednesday, May 5, 1999, in the Marston Science Library 1st floor conference room.
