- The Committee and the Preservation Department Head will identify annual goals collectively.
- Production schedules will be set as a result of this process.
- The Committee will represent the ideas, interests, and goals of each library binding unit.
- It will regard library technical and access practices equally and serve as a primary source for binding procedures and administrative support.
- The Committee will have full authority over procedures, and it will oversee implementation of the binding contract.
- It will also advise the Preservation Department Chair in policy and contract matters.
Anticipated Date of Decision Concerning the Committee Recommendation
- Policy questions regarding the binding process and contract will be decided within one week.
- Other policy matters will be referred and decided within two months, depending on the schedules of committees to which referrals may be made.
