Virtual Tour of Southeast Library Bindery

Labelling Items Individually
After the boxes are unpacked and everything is counted, each item gets its own individually numbered tag.

The tags show information about how to process the volume, as well as the account number and date the volume was received into the bindery.

After being tagged, items are then separated by leaf attachment method and any collation work, including removing covers, is completed.
