J-STOR Project
During Spring Semester 2006 the Preservation Department conducted an examination to determine the cost effectiveness of binding the print versions of periodicals concurrently available through J-STOR.
Currently there are 814 J-STOR titles. Of these, the UF Libraries receives 413 in print. Those 413 titles are bound approximately 645 times per year, at a cost of approximately $4515. It was determined that this cost was within an acceptable level of expenditure.
