1. “Round robin” introduction of all present A-Team members.
2. Serials Solutions records for online versions of periodicals are currently
being loaded into Aleph.
a. Serials Solutions does A-Z list (E-journal locator)
b. S.S. also provides bib records for most online resources
c. These records vary in completeness
d. Monthly updates, new records loaded (additions, changes, deletions)
e. Particularly important online journals that only have a ‘brief’
record can be cataloged more fully, but Naomi will be doing this on a piecemeal
basis.
3. Claim report client demo – question to members -- how’s it
going? It’s working for MSL except they get other branches titles on
their claim report lists. Serials acquisitions unit experienced this too.
4. Review of minutes from July meeting.

6. Topic: Item record sorting practice. Naomi’s PowerPoint presentation

a. The group did some practice examples from a print handout created by Cathy.
b. Naomi and Cathy will be drafting a short sheet for OPAC notes that need
to tell public of missing issues in a volume.
Q and A: Cathy asked about Bind/Changes button. SAhe wanted to know if there some inconsistency according to branch on whether Aleph changes Item Status and Issue Type when using Bind/Changes?
