Featured Resource - Oxford Music Online

Oxford Music Online is a new database through which users can access Oxford's premier music resources, including Grove Music Online.  Grove Music Online contains full text (with updated content and bibliographies) of the 29-volume print edition of New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians, the 4-volume New Grove Dictionary of Opera and the 3-volume New Grove Dictionary of Jazz.  Over 50,000 articles chart the diverse history and culture of music and musicians from around the world, from pre-history to the present day.  Oxford Music Online recently incorporated the Encyclopedia of Popular Music which has been established worldwide as the most comprehensive reference work on popular music available.  Additional reference resources include The Oxford Companion to Music and The Oxford Dictionary of Music which provide quick introductions to complex terms and concepts.
