Payroll

Payroll runs on a biweekly schedule.

Each work week runs from Friday-Thursday.

2 Things are REQUIRED for you to be paid

  1. You must sign In and Out in my.ufl.edu each day you work. This has to be done daily rather than all at once at the end of the week. Further instructions on how to do this are included below.
  2. You must sign in and out in the Sign In Book located at Circulation once when you come in and once when you leave. You may not enter both your IN and OUT times at once. The reason is that this indicates when you are here so that your supervisor and coworkers know you are currently working.

The Stack Maintenance Supervisor verifies that the times in the book and in my.ufl.edu match prior to approving your time.

NEW HIRES

  • You will probably not receive your first paycheck until at least ONE MONTH after you begin working due to processing time for your paperwork.
  • You will need to fill out a Direct Deposit Form so that your paychecks can be deposited directly into your bank account. It is University policy that everyone use Direct Deposit. The form can be returned to the Stack Maintenance Supervisor to be faxed off, you may fax it yourself, or some banks will process the forms. Here is the link to the Direct Deposit Form.

Viewing and Printing Your Paycheck

  • UF employees can view or print a copy of their on-line earnings statement on the myUFL portal > My Self Service > Payroll and Compensation > View Paycheck.
  • When printing your on-line earnings statement, please note that Internet Explorer users will need to either print it in landscape mode or reduce the size of the document as follows:

    In Internet Explorer:

    1. Click anywhere on the "View Paycheck" frame (or page).
    2. In the browser window, select File > Print Preview.
    3. In the Print Preview window, select 75% of page from the drop down window.
    4. Select 'Only the Selected Frame' from the drop down window.
    5. If the far-right numbers are still truncated, adjust your left and right margins to .5 using File > Page Setup.
    6. Click print in the upper left-hand corner.

Netscape and Mozilla users should be able to print the "View Paycheck" document without any adjustments.
