Hmmm, Good question. I am still trying to define that for myself. My working title within the libraries is Public Services Technology Coordinator. I fall into the IT Expert class, which is kind of scary. I mean if you're an Expert, you're supposed to know everything, right? Well, I don't claim to know everything, but I can figure most things out in time. Google is my friend!

I like to think of myself as a Liaison to the Liaisons. It's my job to help them help those in their departments. Since I've been here, I've been working on top secret instructional documentation for the Liaisons as well as a training program for them. So, Liaisons, I'm here to serve! Don't be afraid to call on me in your time of need.

In addition, it's my job to research and introduce new technological ideas to the libraries specific to Public Services (i.e. new things we can use that will enhance the patrons' library experiences). This is one of the focuses of the Public Computers Management Team I am working with. I'd also like to encourage any of you that have ideas to speak up.

Outside of the library, I am a newlywed and a "MeMe". My husband, Jason, and I have been married for 2 years now. We have three children and two *gasp* grandchildren. (Shocking, I know.) The twins, Alisha and Andrew, recently turned 21 and Rachel is 11. The babies are Logan, 2, and Kennedy, 13 months. And yes, I am way too young to be "MeMe', but it is a lot of fun!

Now, if that doesn't sound like enough to keep me busy, I am also very involved at my church, Bethel United Methodist in Lake City. There, I host a small youth group on Wednesday nights, serve on the Family Ministries Team and the Finance Committee, and am the Co-Editor of The Buzz Around Bethel, our monthly newsletter.

On the rare occasion that we're not running around with the kids or church, I like to hang out at home, watching movies with a pizza, popcorn and Ben & Jerry's!
