1. Annual Appraisal period begins - due to HR 23 March 2012.

Ongoing IT Updates

Hardware

1. App Streaming - Adobe Acrobat package challenges - print driver issues continue.
2. Staff Migration: AFA - Thursday, March 1st
   Cataloging / Metadata - Monday, March 5th
   LAC then ALF (no firm dates)
3. Audio / Visual - no change
   MSL monitors
   New Microphones 1A - waiting more options, testing
4. VDI Project: Citrix vs VMware
5. New microfiche readers: Special Collection - location issues
6. Printing - Public printing in HSCL is down
   Creating Mac Print Drivers
7. Software - Illiad 8.2 upgrade re-scheduled for March 7th
   Endnote issues
   GPO for Macro Express departments
8. McAfee - Migrate server from 2003 32 bit to 2008 64 bit
9. Intermittent logon issues continue
   Low resource error continues - ticket in with CNS
   Remote Desktop does not allow logon or directs you to the wrong computer

Software

1. Kuali OLE - DELIVER team update
2. Chris will consult with Will and Winston reviewing Implementation Plan
3. Print Journal Inventory Tracker (Storage Facility/ ASERL) - met with Cathy M. to further define requirements. Set up weekly meetings until requirements are finished
4. ASERL Gap Analysis rehost + mods - anticipated to finish "rehost" phase by end of February
5. Patron Updates - switch data sources to new Enterprise Systems data warehouse
6. Macros
7. ARES-Sakai authentication - Atlas implementing cross-walk table
8. Broadcast to Public Computers tool - Implement Threading to improve speed/performance

Network/Server Administration

1. VDI testing - ACL issue with VM access. CNS is fixing it, should be done today
2. New EPO server - server ready, waiting for ACL configuration
3. Voicemail to email conversion Friday
4. New server for security cameras in process - setup complete, waiting for access to PPD VLAN
5. New CNS Remedy Ticketing System leaves much to be desired.

Web & Digital

1. Web Projects: ALADN/Listserv instructions and automation as well as the Panama Canal Museum migration. On hold: LAC website update, FEFDL & CMS
2. DLC/Shared Storage Projects:
   FCLA implementation of SobekCM
   C#/ASP.NET "port" of Djatoka a Djatoka.NET
   DLC-to-Hathi Trust format and workflow tools
   Retrospective theses/dissertation site for digitization opt-out
