Announcements
  1. Library West dedication - has been moved to the 2nd floor of West - instead of outside of the Plaza. Jan. 26.
Review Minutes of 12/11/06
  1. Ann #5 - should be National Championship, not SEC.
Ongoing Systems Updates
Liaisons
  1. Updating public machines this week: Acrobat, Firefox and Verify Patron. There are a lot of people out.
Networking
  1. Xerox - status is the same. They rebuilt a few of the print release stations. We will continue meeting with them until the printing situation is squared away.
  2. Dell Media Tech - still waiting for the corrected Statement of Work.
Software Projects Status
  1. Current Net - finished.
  2. Trouble Tickets is done - can be removed from the list.
  3. Training database - will demo to HR tomorrow; then it will go live.
  4. Personnel database - should have something to show at the end of this week.
  5. DLC Tracking database - Mark is helping Tom - they are testing the functionality and cleaning up.
  6. Greenstone - Mark just returned from Guyana - he trained five people. He will be off to Haiti in mid-January.
  7. JPEG 2000 - can't use it with the Buffalo server.
Web Projects
  1. Homepage redesign - several examples are available at: http://www.uflib.ufl.edu/homepage/ The Directors are evaluating the choices.
  2. Proxy log-on page - Tom came up with two different versions and handed them to the Resource Navigation Committee to give input to Carol Turner.
Students and Department
  1. Break week. Vera will be in during lunch hours. Please listen for the phone and doors.
