Join the Domain
  1. In the Control Panel, select “Performance and Maintenance”.
  2. Double click “System”.

  3. On the “Computer Name” tab, click the Change button.

  4. Make sure the name listed matches the WSID number assigned to your computer and is in the format “WSIDxxxx”
  5. Click the Domain button, and type “SMATHERSLIB” in the field.

  6. Click Ok.
  7. You may be asked to enter your username and password.

  8. If the change is successful, a popup will appear which says, “Welcome to the smatherslib domain”. 

    OK

  9. Click Ok.
  10. Click OK on the System Properties window. 
  11. The machine will ask you to restart.
  12. Click Yes to restart the computer.
