Excellent survey of the social sciences as of the 1930’s. Introduction has a discussion of the nature and scope of the social sciences, a history of their development, and a country by country survey of their position. The main portion of the work covers important concepts and advances in anthropology, economics, law, political science, social work, and sociology.
