There are nine major libraries on the University of Florida campus.

Architecture and Fine Arts Education Health Science Journalism Law Library West Science Music Smathers Library

The Smathers Library, nicknamed "Library East," houses the Latin American Collection and the Department of Special and Area Collections. Special Collections includes the Baldwin Library of Children's Historical Literature, the Belknap Collection of the Performing Arts, the P.K. Yonge Library of Florida History, Rare Books and Manuscripts and the University Archives.
