PAST ASSOCIATION ACTIVITIES

October 28, 1998: 3:30 PM	We were privileged to have Dr. John Lombardi, UF President, as our first speaker. The Gator Libraries Staff Association became an official organization, as the constitution was passed by a secret ballot vote.
February 9, 1999: 2:00 PM	Becky Burleigh, coach of the 1998 National Champion Florida Gators women's soccer team took the time to speak to our group.
October 1999	Inez Wolins, Director of the Harn Museum spoke with us.
June 8, 1999	The association welcomed Director of Athletics, Jeremy Foley, who spoke at the meeting.

March 15, 2000	Charles Young, UF Interim President spoke to the group in the Library East reading room. He then held a question-and-answer session for the library staff.
