Internet / Database Access
Access to the Internet and online library services, including
the library catalog and databases, is available in all the libraries and branches. Library workstations are equipped with both Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers.
Web Email Access
Access to most web-based email services is available throughout the libraries and branches.
Word Processing and Other Production Software
Microsoft Office 2010 as other Windows 7 production software is available on library workstations.

WebCT Classes and Streaming Video
WebCT courseware and the university's video classes can be viewed on workstations throughout the libraries. Users
must provide their own headphones. To aid in viewing or listening to other media, the workstations provide the following viewing and listening utilities and plug-ins.

Printing
Printers are available in all libraries and branches. Transactions are charged to your Gator-1 card.

- Color copying/printing costs $.50 per page, and is available from the AFA Library, Marston Science Library, and the Health Science Center Library

Library workstations provide multi-language support through the Microsoft Keyboard IME extensions.

Laptop Loans
Library West and Marston Science Library each have a limited number of netbooks available for checkout on a first-come first-served basis. Use of netbooks is restricted to current UF students, staff and faculty. See library netbook/laptop policies.
Projector Loans
Library West has 3 Pico Projectors available for 2-hour checkout for "in library" use only. Checkout at 2nd floor circulation desk.
AFA Library has 2 Pico Projectors available for 3-day checkout. Checkout at the AFA Library Service Desk.
Camera Loans
Library West has 5 flip-video cameras available for 3-Day checkout. Checkout at 2nd floor circulation desk.
AFA Library has 8 flip-video cameras available for 3-day checkout. Checkout at the AFA Library Service Desk.
AFA Library has 2 camera tripods available for 3 day checkout. Checkout at the AFA Library Service Desk.Microforms
AFA Library no longer holds microforms collections or any associated equipment.
Cables
Library West has Cables ( VGA, HDMI, and RCA/COMPOSITE) available for 2-hour checkout for "in library" use only. Checkout at 2nd floor circulation desk. Suggested use in LW study rooms with 41" monitors.
