Endeca Implementation Task Force
Background: During the summer of 2007, the University of Florida’s libraries will implement a new catalog interface provided by the Florida Center for Library Automation using Endeca software. This will have a major impact on users’ ability to navigate the library catalog and locate information resources at UF and in the other libraries of Florida’s state universities.
This Task Force is being created to carry out activities that will lead to a successful implementation of Endeca. These include but are not limited to the following tasks:

Amy Buhler (HSCL representative on PSPC OPAC Subcommittee)
Edward Hart (LIC representative on PSPC OPAC Subcommittee)

Duration of Tasks:
Work of the task force will begin immediately and should be completed no later than the end of fall semester, 2007.
-Usability studies completed (Endeca Usability Report)
-Training for staff completed (two classes were offered)
